History

The Salesian presence in Chitradurga was begun on 12th June 1995. A beautiful Church in the form of an Indian temple, facing the national highway has been erected. Considering the need of the hour and the scope of the institute a school building and hostel have also been built for the integral development of the poor and the young.

The scope of this mission is education-evangelisation, which includes the social uplift of the poorest and the most backward people in the villages around.
