In a divine atmosphere, with hearts full of gratitude to the first successor of Don Bosco, the Salesian Novitiate Community of Padivayal remembered Bl. Michael Rua on the 29th of October, which turned out to be a happy occasion to offer gratitude to that great man of prayer and action.  Fr. Master celebrated the Feast day mass in which he underscored the active contemplation and laudable fidelity radiated in Bl. Rua. He also stressed on how discipline and firmness were veiled beneath the remarkable gentleness of that great personality, which indeed is easy to admire but difficult to imitate. The holy Eucharist was aptly solemnized with a melodious choir, offertory and prayer of the faithful in which we beseeched the intercession of Bl. Rua. The feast day wishes and smiles reinvigorated Salesian holy joy. The day gave the message that nothing attracts the young more than joy and happiness that spring from a virtuous life as shown by Bl. Rua.

Bro. Augustine, SDBPadivayal Rua
