Use of Technology at Don Bosco Church:

Inauguration of LCD8th September 2009 was a distinguished day for Don Bosco Church, Lingarajapuram – Bangalore. Rev. Fr. Devasia sdb, the Parish Priest, along with his co-priests and parishioners blessed and inaugurated the LCD projector which is permanently fixed in the church for the liturgical celebrations. This simple church sets an example for all the other churches in and around Bangalore to use technology for the liturgical celebrations. All the hymns, prayers and readings are projected on to the screen in all the three languages (English, Kannada and Tamil) for the faithful to actively participate in the Eucharistic celebrations. One cannot miss the unique feeling when you celebrate Mass / participate in it in this simple church where all sing and answer the prayers especially at childrens’ Mass.
