Drum Beats of Beatification
Don Bosco, Padivayal specially honored Bl.Ceferino Namuncurá, the Lily of the Pampas, on August 26th. Salesian Spirit Permeated with Empathy for the Afflicted
The continuous heavy down pour and the accumulation of water on high areas of Wayanad caused landslides and as a result many people completely lost houses and cultivated land. The Salesians and the novices of Don Bosco, Padivayal, moved with love and concern for the afflicted, reached out to the needy. It was not just doing some work, but an occasion to feel one with the poor and suffering and come into contact with their problems. The work mainly consisted of removing the mud that had fallen on the houses and courtyard of four families. The work was done with precision and alacrity.
Alive with the Spirit of Don Bosco
Don Bosco, Padivayal witnessed the profession of three Salesian co-operators on August 30th.
