The third day of the Provincial Chapter commenced with a solemn Eucharistic celebration presided over by Fr. Jose Kuttianimattathil. Immediately after the Mass the members arranged themselves for a group. The proceedings of the day began with a short prayer by Fr. Varghese Thannippara. The themes presented were Implementation of GC 26 (Art. 18-44), Organic Provincial Plan, Formation Directory/Economic Directory and Province Matters. Lively interactions followed the presentations. Some of the important proposals were: Re-launch apostolic schools for high school students both in Karntaka and Kerala, Set up a commission to study the possibility of starting a youth animation centre in Karnataka, Constitute a committee for considering the pros and cons of BA cum philosophy in Aluva, Start a cultural centre in Karnataka, Form competent youth animation teams both in Karnataka and Kerala, etc.

After tasting failure the previous day in Volleyball, the Kerala team, taking tips from the veteran Basketball player, Fr. P.O. Varghese, emerged winners today. Fr. Benny Neeliyara, missionary from Yemen, in the goodnight talk given to the Chapter members spoke at length about the developments in Yemen. The assembly was thrilled to hear that if given a chance he would be happy to stay back in Yemen for any number of years. And thus the third day of the Chapter came to an end.
