In the name of all the beneficiaries we extend a sincere thanks to all our benefactors.
After a long wait of about five years, the Girl Children of Deodurga Project, numbering forty four and the Assisi Sisters who look after them, have the joy of hoping for a permanent home. Rev. Fr Thomas Anchukandam, our beloved Provincial, blessed the foundation stone on October 21, 2009. We are grateful to the Rector Major and his Councilors and all the Salesians of Bangalore province for their generous contribution towards the realization of this long cherished dream.
With the keen interest of Fr Provincial and the encouragement of Fr. George Mathew, our economer, we have begun the construction works. We hope and pray that the efforts that we make will bear fruit before the commencement of the next scholastic year.
