Integrated Development Society of Alappuzha launches ‘My Clean Beach’ drive
IDS Alappuzha is in the limelight once again with yet another noble venture. ‘My Clean Beach’ Drive was inaugurated by the ward councilor Mrs.Jessy Benedict on 22nd January 2022.
Through education, conscientisation and campaign the organizers hope to achieve their target of providing clean beach atmosphere for the people around. The cleaning drive had a fitting start with the involvement of BSW students of Don Bosco College, Kottiyam.
This programme also helped the students to understand the challenges of waste removal and creation of public awareness about sanitation, health and hygiene.
The organisers said that more such programmes will be implemented to keep the beaches clean.
