Don Bosco Seminary Aluva inaugurates Marian Month

Don Bosco Seminary, Aluva, marked the beginning of the traditional Marian Month on July 16th, 2022. Taking inspiration from the words of Jesus from the Cross to His beloved disciple: ‘Here’s your mother.’ (Jn.19:27), the community has chosen ‘HERE IS YOUR SOULMATE’ as the theme for Marian Month. 

The Theme ‘Soulmate’ is abbreviated as ‘Sharing Our Unity and Love with Mary’s Assistance To Everyone.’ 

During the inaugural talk, Rev. Fr. Joy Kaippananickal, the Rector, exhorted the community to compete in our devotion to Mary. To underscore the Marian month celebration and all its activities, Br. N.C. Joseph released the Marian month booklet. 

The highlights of the inaugural ceremony included a Marian speech, floral homage to our blessed mother and reception of the scapular as a sign of filial devotion and dependence on our blessed mother who is the principal patroness of our congregation.
