Don Bosco Youth Forum celebrates Independence Day, Youth Day and First Anniversary

Don Bosco Youth Forum celebrated the 75th Independence Day, International Youth Day and First Anniversary of DBYF on August 13, 2022, at the FCDP Hall. Mr. V. Rajesh, Excise Commissioner, inaugurated the formal programme and Ms. Agnes John, FCDP Chairperson, presided over the event. Mr. N. Tomy, Councillor, Pallithottam and Ms. Veronica Antony, TMS President, gave the felicitation talks.

Mr. Emmanuel Escleen, a resident of Moothakara, who gained recognition and appreciation throughout social media for his singing talent, was felicitated during the event.

After the formal programme, the DBYF members shared the homemade food parcels they brought amongst themselves.

Later, Fr. Joby Sebastian (FCDP Director) gave the introductory speech, during which he recounted the activities of the DBYF conducted in the previous year. Representatives from each group in DBYF shared their experiences of being a part of this community. Ms. Mary John, DBYF Coordinator, other animators and the DBYF members together cut the cake to celebrate the first anniversary of DBYF.

Various cultural programmes by the DBYF members and a DJ programme were also organised. The programmes concluded by 5.30 p.m.
