Largest Telescope in Chitradurga installed at Don Bosco ICSE School

Don Bosco ICSE School, Chitradurga, inaugurated the new Telescope G S O Dobsonium on January 17, 2022. 

Rev. Fr. Jose Koyikal, our Provincial, together with Rev. Fr. Saji the Rector and Manager, and Fr. Martin Vijay SDB, the Principal of Don Bosco ICSE School, and Mr. Dilip, the staff representative, blessed and inaugurated the newly installed telescope.

The Telescope G S O Dobsonium, with 10 inches mirror diameter and a focal length of 1250 mm, is made in Taiwan. This is the largest telescope in Chitradurga, and it is installed to enhance the knowledge of our students, appreciate the complexity of the celestial bodies and encourage curious minds.
