Clubs and House System was solemnly inaugurated in Don Bosco Higher Secondary School Mannuthy on Tuesday, 27 June 2023 at 10:30 am. The dignitaries Rev. Fr. Joy Ullatil SDB, Principal, DB College Mannuthy, Rev. Fr. Thomas Koonan SDB, Rector and Manager, Rev. Fr. Babu Manissery SDB, Principal, Rev. Fr. Prince Puthanangady SDB, Vice Rector DB College, Mannuthy, Rev. Fr. Jithin Chakkimangalath SDB, Dean of Studies and Vice Principal, DBCS, Mr. Adv. Abraham Joy, PTA President, Mrs. Lattisha O J, School Coordinator, Mr. Yesudas A A the House System Coordinator, and Mrs. Anu Chungath, Club Coordinator were extended the guard of honour by the NCC, Scouts, Guides and the JRC.

The function commenced with a prayer song. Words of welcome was proposed by Rev. Fr. Babu Manissery SDB, the principal of the school. Rector and Manager Rev. Fr. Thomas Koonan SDB presided over the function and addressed the students to make use of the opportunities the school offers to grow and glow.
The chief guest Rev. Fr. Joy Ullatil SDB, the Principal, DB College, Mannuthy inaugurated the clubs and house system 2023-2024 by lighting the lamp and addressed the students to nurture the ability of tolerance and encouraged them to participate in all the programmes with confidence.
The solemn oath taking and investiture ceremony of the school parliament, class leaders, class assistant leaders, the house captains, vice captains were held with much pomp and glory.
Rev. Fr. Joy Ullatil SDB was presented a memento from the school. The function was made more enjoyable with professional display of a variety of items each from the blue, green, red and yellow houses.
Mr. Yesudas A A, the house system coordinator proposed the words of gratitude. The function concluded with the National Anthem.
