The Salesian presence in Puthuppally began in the year 1991, when Salesians taking up the Syro-Malankara Church and a lower primary English-medium school. Today this humble presence has grown into an enviable higher secondary school and a CBSE school with an imposing school building, excellent library and a dedicated group of staff. The parish has regular services and other liturgical events faithful to the Malankara rite. Added to this, there is an active youth centre unit and the association of the past pupils which makes the Salesian presence more relevant and enriching.
