PTA Annual General Body Meeting 2023- 2024 & Merit Day organized at DBHSS Mannuthy

Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Mannuthy organized the Annual General Body Meeting of the Parent Teacher Association and the Merit Day on Saturday, 08 July 2023 in the school auditorium at 09:30 am. The meeting began by observing two minutes silent tribute to all the departed members during the year 2022-2023. It was followed by the invocation of Lord Almighty through a beautiful hymn of prayer. Mr. Rakesh S.R, Coordinator, HSS Section, welcomed everyone to the meeting. PTA Joint Secretary Mrs. Usha Mary A A, presented the Annual Report of the association.The PTA President Adv.Abraham Maliyekal Joy, presided over the meeting and delivered the presidential address.
Rector and Manager Rev. Fr. Thomas Koonan SDB, emphasized the role of parents and teachers in the field of education and thanked them for their whole hearted cooperation.
The full A+ holders of Plus Two & SSLC 2022- 2023 along with their parents were honored by the chief guest and other dignitaries. Principal Rev Fr. Babu Manissery SDB, invited the parents to cooperate with the school in it’s effort to make the children grow and glow. He asked the parents to be vigilant in upbringing their wards in the right path with a third eye. The chief guest Dr. Siju Thomas Thottappilly, captured the hearts of many parents through his key-note address that focused on positive parenting and nurturing good habits in children. A memento was presented to the chief guest as a token of love and appreciation.
The school coordinator Mrs. Lattisha O J, proposed the words of gratitude. The general assembly ended with the National Anthem. Then the parents assembled in their respective class rooms to mark the attendance, fill up the feedback form and to elect three class representatives. Class teachers addressed the parents regarding general well being, school rules, regulations and the need to excel in academics. Tea and snacks were arranged on each floor for the parents. It was a day filled with memorable experiences for each one.
