Sodashi 2023: A Celebration Of Collaboration And Inclusivity

SODASHI 2K23, the second edition of Don Bosco College’s ambitious national level intercollegiate fest, was celebrated with its ideology of collaboration and inclusivity on October 6th and 7th, 2023. The two-day event featured a Placement Expo and academic sessions on Day 1, and intercollegiate arts, sports, and intellectual events on Day 2.

Thriving Marketplace of Opportunity :On the first day of SODASHI 2023, Don Bosco College held a Placement Expo called DREAM 2k23. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Junaid Kaippani, District Welfare Standing Committee Chairman, Wayanad. 35 companies participated in the job fair, and over 450 participants registered. 133 attendees were selected.

Vibrant Showcase of Talent : On the second day of SODASHI 2K23, a grand inaugural function was held in the college auditorium. The eminent Chief Guest of the Inaugural session, Rev. Dr. Binu Scaria Mariyavilla SDB, Professor, DBC, Bengaluru, emphasized the need to promote multi-domain national interfaces to make learners get more heterogeneous exposure. Dr. Antony Thekkedath, Rector and Manager, spoke on the need to be resourceful and inventive so as to remain relevant. Dr. Johnson Ponthempilly SDB, Principal, spoke on the intent and effort behind SODASHI 2K23.

The event witnessed the participation of 814 participants from 25 colleges, who competed in a plethora of intercollegiate arts, sports, and intellectual events. The overall championship of Sodashi 2K23 went to Nilgiri College of Arts and Science, Tamil Nadu.A Testament to Collaboration and Inclusivity: SODASHI 2023 was a testament to Don Bosco College’s commitment to providing students with a holistic learning experience, and its efforts to promote national unity and inclusivity through events like SODASHI.
