Orientation and awareness session on Foster Care by Don Bosco Bhadravati

Orientation and awareness session for MSW students about the concept of Foster Care was conducted in the presence of Yerehalli Thandya villagers. This program was organized by the Department of Social Work, Kuvembu University, Bhadravathi in Yerehalli Thandya as a conclusion of their 7-day-long village camp and in the presence of senior judges namely Sreekanth, Shivakumar, Sremathi Urmila V and dignitaries like Swanthana Kendra representative N Devendrappa, Chandra Naik etc. Devendra Naik, the retired SDMC president and Ms. Nancy Steffy conducted the orientation of the MSW students and Fr. Sony introduced the topic. It was heartening to see the enthusiasm of both students and villagers about clarifying their doubts and understanding the subject.
