Two-day Leadership Training program by DREAM Trivandrum for Police Cadets of Trivandrum City

The two-day leadership training program organized by DREAM(Drug Rehabilitation Education And Mentoring) for 60 students from 30 different schools in the Trivandrum district, who are also representatives of the Students Police Cadets, sounds like an excellent initiative. The program had a significant impact on young students, equipping them with valuable leadership skills and knowledge.

The Leadership Training Programme was a highly successful event aimed at nurturing leadership skills among young individuals. The program featured notable dignitaries and speakers who contributed to its success.

The program was inaugurated by Shri Salomon, the Commandant of the Special Armed Police and Additional Nodal Officer for SPC South Zone. His presence lent significant importance to the event and marked its official commencement. Fr Dominic Kaniyantharayil, Assistant Director of Don Bosco Veedu Society, presided over the inauguration and Shri E Balakrishnan, who serves as the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) at the Narcotics Control Bureau and holds the position of District Nodal Officer for SPC Trivandrum, delivered an inspiring keynote address. Shri Zaju D was entrusted with the honour of felicitating the inaugural function, and his presence further enriched the event.

The two-day leadership training program was designed to empower young minds with enthusiasm and enhance their leadership qualities. The training sessions were structured to make effective use of life skills to achieve these goals. Participants engaged in various interactive sessions and workshops that aimed to develop their leadership potential.  The program emphasized the importance of life skills in leadership. Participants learned how to harness these skills to navigate challenges and make sound decisions. Throughout the two days, motivational speakers and experts shared their experiences and insights to motivate and inspire the participants. Shri Biju Simon, Shri Joby Kondoor, Dr Udayachandran led the sessions. The esteemed presence of Fr Philip Parakkat, Director DREAM Kerala, Shri Anoop, Coordinator DREAM Kerala and the interesting interactive session by Fr Dominic Kaniyantharayil added a touch of wisdom and experience to the session.

The Leadership Training Programme was a resounding success, thanks to the commitment and participation of all the attendees. The distinguished speakers and facilitators contributed their expertise to ensure that young minds left the event with enhanced leadership skills and a renewed sense of enthusiasm.
