DB Tech Hospet – Alumni Meet – 2023

On November 18th, 2023 Don Bosco Educational Complex, Hospet hosted an Alumni Meet. The Alumni Meet of Don Bosco Tech Hospet, featuring past pupils from various batches was a vibrant event with around 125 attendees. The main objective was to track their professional journeys and identify challenges in the job sector. Commencing at 10:30 am, the event witnessed the esteemed presence of Fr. Roshan D’sa Sdb, the rector and manager of Don Bosco Educational Complex Hospet, Fr. John M A Sdb the administrator, Fr. John Peter, the Director of Don Bosco Centre for Social Action, Fr. Maria Praveen sdb, the Principal of Don Bosco ICSE school, Fr. Pius sdb, the Liturgical Animator, Fr. Arun George, the Principal of Don Bosco Professional Academy, Hospet , and Ms. Catherine, A Volunteer from Czech Republic along with Mr. Pritto State MIS from DB Tech Bangalore.

Fr. Arun welcomed the gathering, setting a positive tone. The program featured a powerful short film by Mr. Jayaraj, the trainer at DB Tech Hospet, created in collaboration with his students, offering a nostalgic journey into the alumni’s experiences. The cultural program, showcasing students’ talents, added vibrancy to the event.

Fr. Roshan and Fr. John Peter served as the main resource persons, sharing valuable insights into the challenges and successes of the alumni in the job sector. Fr. Maria Praveen and Mr. Pritto also addressed the audience, enriching the discussions.

The efforts of DB Tech trainers, including Mr. Jayaraj, Mrs. Laxmi, Mr. Ramesh Naik, and Ms. Saraswathi, were commendable, and their collaboration with students bore fruit, as evidenced by the success of the event.

Culminating with a group photo, the event symbolized the shared memories and connections among the alumni. This meet not only addressed professional aspects but also celebrated the spirit of community and the collective journey of the past pupils at Don Bosco Tech Hospet.
