Youth center membership day Inauguration 2024-25 at Don Bosco Seminary Aluva
Today the 15th of August 2024, the solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the 78th independence day of our nation, we had the inauguration and the membership day for the members of our youth center in the auditorium of the Don Bosco Seminary Aluva.
We were the indeed glad to have the president, Vice-president and the ward member for the programme. The latter were the chief guests along with Fr. Rector Joy Kaipan, Fr. Paulson the parish priest and Br. Bijo the director and the Nixon the president of the youth centre.
The programme began with the lighting of the lamp and felicitation of the chief guests. Each of the chief guests gave a fitting message and expressed their gratefulness to Don Bosco for the service that we are rendering for the people and the youth of our locality. There were around hundred and thirty people present to witness the inauguration and the celebration.
We had the oath taking ceremony for the youth, after which followed cultural items performance in which the youth, the children and the brothers took part very actively.
The programme was oraganized very meticulously and it witnessed a fitting conclusion around 9: 45pm when the people cheered Don Bosco and left the premise with sweets, cakes and juice.
