Don Bosco College, Mannuthy, Thrissur, Launches Inaugural Newsletter “Bosco’s Beacon: Guiding Vibrant Youth”

Don Bosco College, Mannuthy, successfully launched its inaugural newsletter, “Bosco’s Beacon: Guiding Vibrant Youth,” on Friday, January 17th, during the commencement of an awareness class dedicated to National Road Safety Week 2025.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Sri. Atul Sagar IAS, Assistant Collector (Under Trainee), who officially released the first edition of the newsletter. The Assistant Collector extended his congratulations to the entire college community for this significant initiative.

“Bosco’s Beacon” is envisioned as a cornerstone of communication within the college, serving to disseminate vital information, cultivate a strong sense of community, and uphold transparency. The e-newsletter will provide regular updates on academic schedules, examination results, upcoming events, student achievements, faculty news, and other essential announcements.

Fr. Dr. Johnson Ponthempilly, Principal of Don Bosco College, emphasized, “This initiative underscores our unwavering commitment to effective communication and fostering a vibrant campus life.” Rev. Fr. Cyril Edamana further stated, “We are confident that ‘Bosco’s Beacon’ will play a pivotal role in connecting students, faculty, staff, and alumni, while simultaneously showcasing the unique strengths and accomplishments of our institution.”

The occasion was graced by the presence of Fr. Jimmy Jose, Vice Principal, along with other esteemed faculty members and enthusiastic students of the college.
