A Day of Cricket and camaraderie: The Bosco Cricket Tournament 2025

The Bosco Cricket Tournament 2025 was successfully held on 9th February 2025 at the Don Bosco Pre-Novitiate in Mysore. The tournament was organized by the Don Bosco Youth Centre, Mysore, to honor Don Bosco, the father and patron of young people, in a celebration of both sportsmanship and community spirit. The tournament commenced at 7:30 AM with a grand inauguration led by Rev. Fr. Freddie, the Rector of Don Bosco Pre-Novitiate, who officially opened the event. Alongside him, were Fr. Jaison, the Director of the Don Bosco Youth Centre, Fr. Rahul, and Br. Sandesh, who were all present to support the event. The tournament saw an enthusiastic participation of 15 teams from across Mysore, each one competing with great energy and enthusiasm. All the teams exhibited true sportsmanship and respect for the values of the tournament, fostering a competitive yet friendly environment throughout the day. The games began at 7:30 AM , and the competition continued with intense excitement and energy, as each team gave their best performance. The tournament concluded at 6:45 PM, with the final matches determining the winners after a full day of exhilarating cricket action. At the conclusion of the tournament, the winners were presented with their well-deserved prizes. Their dedication and teamwork were celebrated by all present. The organizers were thanked profusely for their outstanding effort in ensuring that the tournament was a resounding success.
