Cluster Meeting for Brothers in Practical Training and Studies Held at Don Bosco Aluva

The Cluster Meeting for Brothers in Practical Training and Studies was successfully conducted on 16 February 2025 at Don Bosco Aluva, bringing together 13 participants for a day of reflection, learning, and fraternity. The gathering provided an opportunity for young Salesians to deepen their understanding of their vocation and explore ways to enhance their educational and pastoral roles.

The day began with a prayer service that set a reflective tone for the sessions ahead. Fr. Joy Kaippananickal SDB extended a warm welcome to all participants, emphasizing the importance of such gatherings in strengthening their Salesian commitment.

The first session, “Anchored in Hope, to be Pilgrims of Hope,” was led by Fr. Shalbin Kalanchery SDB. The second session, “A Creative Approach to be an Effective Educator,” was conducted by Fr. Joshy Puthur SDB. The gathering continued with a solemn Holy Mass at 11:45 am, offering a spiritual renewal for the participants. The afternoon session included an open sharing and discussion, where the brothers reflected on their experiences in formation and exchanged valuable insights on their challenges and aspirations.

The day concluded with a tea break, games, and a farewell, leaving the brothers enriched and motivated to continue their Salesian mission with renewed hope and creativity. The event was a testament to the spirit of brotherhood and dedication that defines Salesian formation, ensuring that the future educators and mentors of the congregation remain anchored in their faith and committed to their mission.
