Don Bosco School Bidar celebrates the inauguration of the scholastic year
Don Bosco School Bidar celebrated the inauguration of the scholastic year 20205-26 and World Environment Day on June 14, 2025, with great enthusiasm. “The Earth has enough resources for our need, but not enough for our greed” the day began with these beautiful words as Jhancy madam from the school welocomed everyone present and Fr. Praveen KJ, the Principal while addressing the gathering reinstated the commitment to the students quoting Don Bosco, “Run, jump, shout, but do not sin. Do good while you still have time.” And Fr. Steven Lawrence invited the students to form Character and be responsilbe for every action.
The school which had already welcomed students back with festivities, emphasizing blessings and new beginnings. In 2025, the new scholastic year began with a ceremony marked by rain, symbolizing divine blessings. Such events highlight the school’s commitment to creating a nurturing environment for its students.
World Environment Day is observed with activities promoting sustainability and environmental awareness, aligning with Don Bosco institutions’ emphasis on values-based education. Students engage in eco-friendly initiatives, tree planting, and awareness campaigns, fostering a sense of responsibility towards the planet.
