Don Bosco Puthuppally Distributes 600 Flood Relief Kits in Kottayam
As part of its ongoing commitment to social outreach, Don Bosco Schools, Puthuppally, successfully distributed 600 flood relief kits to families affected by the recent floods in Kottayam Municipality. The distribution drive was held on 7th July 2025 at SH Auditorium, Kottayam.
The event was inaugurated by Shri. Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, Hon. MLA, and witnessed the active presence of municipal representatives Smt. Shiny Philip and Sri. T.C. Roy.
Representing Don Bosco were Fr. Antony Vayalat SDB (Rector & Manager) and Fr. Josh Kanjooparambil SDB (Principal, Don Bosco Central School). The initiative also received support from Mr. Joy Sacarias, representing Nestlé, highlighting the importance of community and corporate partnerships.
This humanitarian effort under the banner ‘Don Bosco Cares’ exemplifies a strong collaboration between civic authorities, educational institutions, and corporate entities in responding to community needs during natural disasters.
