SUMMER ಸಂಭ್ರಮ 2K26 CONCLUDES AT KRISTU JYOTI COLLEGE, BENGALURU

The Social Service Guild (SSG) of Kristu Jyoti College, Bengaluru, organized Summer ಸಂಭ್ರಮ 2K26, a twelve-day summer camp for children and young people, from 7 to 18 April 2026.

          Around 225 children from the urban villages and settlements surrounding T. C. Palya participated in a programme that combined academic enrichment, skills training, creative expression, and recreation. Each day opened with prayer and a motivational thought, with reflections offered by Frs. Bosco Ponthokkan, Santhosh, Mahimai Das, Vineesh Paul, and Sunil Jose, along with Brs. Christraj and Sandesh and Ms. Jasmin.

          The sessions through the camp included spoken English, mathematics, and science exploration, alongside yoga, karate, art and craft, and dance. Practical inputs on health, hygiene, and first aid equipped the children with basic life skills. Quiz, singing, and cooking competitions, together with group games, gave the children space to display their talents and to develop teamwork, confidence, and leadership.

          The camp concluded with a Valedictory Programme on 18 April 2026. SSG places on record its gratitude to the Salesians, teachers, animators, volunteers, and benefactors whose dedication made the camp a meaningful experience for the children of the Don Bosco Learning and Activity Centres.
