Don Bosco KGF celebrates its annual Grotto Feast

Don Bosco KGF celebrated its annual Grotto Feast on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at the Don Bosco KGF ITI campus. The event was organized by the Don Bosco Youth Irudhayapuram under the guidance of Fr. Stephy Francis, Youth Animator. Deepu, the Youth President, systematically led the arrangements with faith and devotion to our Blessed Mother, actively involving all youth members. Approximately 250 devotees took part in the celebration.
The feast began with the Holy Eucharist, presided over by Rev. Fr. Previnth Joe Tony, Rector of Don Bosco KGF. In his homily, he reflected on the life of the Blessed Virgin Mary, highlighting the importance of imitating her virtues—especially her dedication to being the Lord’s most humble disciple. He encouraged everyone to approach Mary with faith and confidence, seeking her maternal intercession. Following the Mass, the youth served a meal to all attendees. Shortly after, a car procession commenced. Devotees of various faiths offered garlands, incense, and candles to our Blessed Mother, and parents brought their babies to the statue to receive blessings. Accompanied by a professional band playing Catholic hymns in honor of Mary, the procession concluded at 10:30 PM with a final blessing, bringing the celebration to a joyful close.
