All Karnataka Don Bosco School Leaders’ Meet 2024-25

On the 24th of August 2024, Don Bosco ICSE, Chitradurga, had the honour of hosting the “All Karnataka Don Bosco School Leaders’ Meet 2024-25.” The event saw the enthusiastic participation of around 210 student leaders from 12 Don Bosco Schools across Karnataka.

The day commenced with the registration at 8:00 am, followed by an inaugural programme at 9:30 am. The Chief Guest, Fr. V.M. Mathew, delivered an inspiring inaugural address, setting the tone for the day. He was accompanied by Fr. Saji George, the Rector and Manager of the institution, Fr. Jaimon Joseph, the Coordinator of All Karnataka Don Bosco Schools and other Salesians.

Following the inauguration, the event featured a series of enlightening sessions on leadership. The first session, “Laying the Foundations of Leadership,” was conducted by Fr. William D’Souza. The second session, “Life Skill Education – An Imperative for an Effective Leader,” was led by Fr. Regi Jacob. After a brief lunch break, the participants reconvened for the third session, “Role Models for Inspiring, Empowering, and Enlightened Leadership,” presented by Fr. K.C. Francis. The final session of the day, titled “Dream Drives Us” – A Dream that Shaped Don Bosco World, was delivered by Fr. Raphael Arogyaraj.

The sessions concluded at 3:30 pm, followed by a photo session, tea, and departure. The entire programme was meticulously planned and executed under the leadership of Fr. K.C. Mathew, the Principal, along with the dedicated staff of Don Bosco ICSE School.

The event was a resounding success, providing invaluable insights and inspiration to the young leaders, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to lead effectively within their communities.
