Bosco Legacy Circle – Retired Staff Reunion at Puthuppally

The retired teachers and former staff of Don Bosco School Puthuppally gathered for a joyful and memorable reunion under the banner of the Bosco Legacy Circle on 6th June 2025 at the campus of Don Bosco Schools Puthuppally. The event brought together those who once served the institution with dedication and love, rekindling bonds that time and distance had not diminished. Mrs. Shashi Alexander briefly shared the journey of how the Bosco Legacy Circle was formed, highlighting its twofold purpose:

1. To bring former staff together to relive treasured memories and maintain lasting friendships.

2. To raise funds to support the needy in society, continuing the legacy of love and service instilled at Don Bosco.

The Salesians of the schools actively took part in the reunion. They graciously acknowledged the contributions of the retired staff and expressed his happiness in witnessing their continued bond with the school The Inaugural Address was given by Rev. Fr. K.D. Joseph, who had appointed many of the retired staff and shared heartfelt reflections on the values that once united them in service. A highlight of the day was the official launching of the Bosco Legacy Circle logo, a symbolic moment representing the group’s desire to honour its roots and embrace the future with unity and purpose. A special moment during the gathering was the honouring of retired staff aged 75 and above for their enduring contribution and legacy.  Their presence added warmth and inspiration to the occasion.

A session of experience sharing allowed members to reflect on their time at Don Bosco, recount fond memories, and appreciate the lifelong impact the school has had on their lives.

The reunion was a beautiful blend of nostalgia, gratitude, and renewed purpose. With strong support from the school management and the sincere involvement of its members, the Bosco Legacy Circle has taken a meaningful step forward in keeping the spirit of Don Bosco alive.
