Boscolsav and Bosco Inspira celebrated at DBHSS MANNUTHY

Don Bosco Higher Secondary School conducted the school kalolsavam under the banner ‘Boscolsav 2023’ on Tuesday, 01 August 2023.

The inaugural ceremony commenced with the mesmerizing ranga pooja by the Bosconians, set the right tone to the entire celebration.
The School Coordinator, Mrs. Lattisha O.J, welcomed the august gathering. Mr. Amithav Suresh, a semi-finalist of the Mazhavil Manorama Super 4 season 2 lighted the lamp along with the other dignitaries and inaugurated the event. The chief guest enthused the students with his beautiful voice. In his presidential address, Rev. Fr. Thomas Koonan SDB, the Rector and Manager, encouraged the students to participate in the various events and appreciated the organizing committee for all the efforts in realizing the programme. He then released ‘Bosco Inspira’ the school Magazine 2022-’23 and appreciated the unseen efforts of the editorial team for bringing out such a beautiful school magazine. As a token of love and gratitude, the principal Rev. Fr. Babu Manissery SDB presented a memento to Mr. Amithav Suresh. Mrs. Sumini U, the programme convenor, communicated to the students all the rules for the smooth conduct of the programme.
All the events started at 10:30 am in all the four stages. Students from Blue, Green, Red and Yellow houses participated in all the events with much enthusiasm. The valedictory function was at 03:30 pm in the school auditorium. Principal Rev. Fr. Babu Manissery SDB, chaired the function and appreciated the efforts of all the teachers and students in order to make this event truly a memorable one. He then distributed prizes and certificates to all the winners. Arts Secretary, Kumari Anamika Satheesh proposed the words of gratitude. The programme concluded with the school anthem at 03.45 pm.
