Celebrating Teachers and their Impact: CHITHRA Don Bosco’s Teacher’s Day Event 2023

On 5th September 2023, a Teacher’s Day event organized jointly by CHITHRA Don Bosco Social Service Organization, and Don Bosco Degree College, Chitradurga. Rev. Fr. Jomon (Principal of Don Bosco Degree College), Rev.Fr. Steven Lawrence SDB (Director of CHITHRA Don Bosco), Rev. Fr. Sebastain (Administrator of CHITHRA Don Bosco), Rev. Fr. Benny (Vice-Principal of Don Bosco Degree College), Dr. Dhankoti and Mrs. Rinki (Lecturers of Don Bosco Degree College) and Mr. Bommanna & Mrs. Chowdamma (Tuition teachers of Evening study centers of CHITHRA Don Bosco) were the guests who adorned the stage.
Fr. Joman said that the role of teachers as influencers in shaping the future of the nation is important. He gave meaningful information about the deep significance of the word “Guru”. He emphasized that teachers can achieve remarkable results with diligence and determination. To address the educational challenges faced by children from underprivileged communities, including those from poor backgrounds and the educationally backward, Chitra Don Bosco has established evening study centers at Chitradurga, serving as beacons of education in the community.
