Christ University Students at Don Bosco Ajjanahalli
Ninety BBA students from Christ University, Bengaluru, accompanied by five faculty members and two animators, visited Don Bosco Ajjanahalli on 19 August 2026 for a day-long programme on leadership and group dynamics.
The morning was dedicated to leadership and team-building sessions, which were designed to be highly interactive and participatory. Through a blend of activities, games and reflection, the students explored various aspects of leadership, teamwork, communication and group dynamics. The sessions provided a lively combination of learning, participation and fun.
The diverse group of students represented a mini-India, with participants coming from different parts of the country, including the north, south, east and west. This diversity added richness to the group experience and provided opportunities for the students to learn from one another. Following lunch, the students went trekking in the nearby hills, giving them an opportunity to enjoy nature and strengthen their bonds as a group in an informal setting.
The students were particularly impressed by the natural setting of Don Bosco Ajjanahalli. Amy, one of the student leaders, shared her appreciation of the venue: “The venue chosen was excellent for us. Earlier, we had gone to many other locations in Bengaluru, but Don Bosco Ajjanahalli was the best so far. We had plenty of space, natural beauty and a calm and quiet atmosphere, with lovely greenery all around. There was no noise or air pollution, and we could enjoy the chirping of birds. We wanted to stay longer, but we had to return.” Don Bosco Ajjanahalli provided the students with the necessary facilities and meals for the programme. After a day filled with learning, fellowship, adventure and nature, the group departed at around 5.00 p.m. The visit was yet another opportunity for Don Bosco Ajjanahalli to serve as a space for youth formation, leadership development, and holistic growth, combining learning with nature, community and meaningful experiences.
