Day 3 sees a continuation of vibrant discussions and serious reflection

The third day of the Provincial Council saw a continuation of the presentation of the Working Document of the Chapter. The Holy Eucharist in the morning was celebrated by Rev. Fr. John Paul SDB, the provincial councillor. The homily was truly touching with Fr. James Paul SDB sharing his God experience. The session began with the procession and reading of the Word of God by Fr. Maria Anand and the reading of the constitutions by Bro. Bijo. The theme song composed by Cl. Joshua Martin. The group photo of the chapter members was also taken. The sessions that followed continued the discussions and reflections on the working document. The highlight of the morning session was the Presentation by the province Economer on the Economic state of the province. He highlighted various expenditure, income, new initiatives, construction and other developments of the province. Before the lunch, the birthday of Fr. Francis Vattukulam SDB was celebrated with the cutting of the cake. The post lunch session saw a continuation of presentations and interventions by various members of the chapter. The good night was given by Fr. James Plakattu highlighting the Vocation Promotion scenario of the province and he urged confreres to promote vocations through contact with boys in parishes and other ways we can support the vocation promoter. The chapter continued its discussion post dinner and finished discussing the province matters before closing for the day.
