DB YaR AWARDS FOR THE PROVINCE OF BANGALORE

The Annual Seminar of DB YaR India took place at the Alpha Pastoral Centre in Cochin, Kerala, on October 3-4, 2024, under the theme “Empowering families and communities towards caring for children and youth at risk.” Hosted by Don Bosco Palluruthy in celebration of its Golden Jubilee in the YaR ministry, the seminar attracted 135 participants. An YaR award ceremony was organised and INK province received four awards, which were distributed by Fr. Rafael Bejarano Rivera from Rome. The following were the awards:

1. “Best social worker” award for receiving from Government to Fr. Francis Shabu – Don Bosco Yadgiri
2. “YaR Innovative Programme” awardto Fr.Kuriakose, Don Bosco PYaR Gulbarga.
3. Homelink Network Phoenix Award for BREADS organisation, Bangalore, a node of Homelink, Bangalore Hub.
4. “YaR Life time achievement award” to Fr. George Kollashany SDB, Bangalore Province.

We are proud of our dear confreres who have received these important awards and at the same time, we congratulate them for the invaluable services that they are rendering in this important sector of our province.
