Don Bosco Ajjanahalli Past Pupils’ Meet

The walls, corridors, and entire campus of Don Bosco, Ajjanahalli, were filled with joy and happiness at the presence of forty-five boys who had lived here for periods ranging from one year to ten years. The daylong event was organised by the community to welcome the alumni and hear their stories, as well as to learn about their current status in life. This gathering served as a fitting celebration of the month dedicated to Don Bosco.
The Past Pupils played a cricket match in the morning after breakfast. In the afternoon, they enjoyed DJ music and participated in a group discussion, facilitated by Fr. Siju Enchacka who personally knew most of the past pupils, and Fr. Kantharaj Uday, the Karnataka Regional Youth Director. The group discussion commenced with welcoming remarks from Fr. Maria Anand, the rector of the community, followed by a personal sharing and input from Fr. Siju and Fr. Uday.

The group discussion facilitated a profound sharing of their lives, current circumstances, and how their stay at Don Bosco, Ajjanahalli, has positively impacted them. Most participants recalled the fathers, brothers, and teachers who have played a vital role in their development. After tea, we took a group photo and then played a football match. At sunset, they gradually returned to their homes. The gathering was a joyful homecoming for the past pupils.
