Don Bosco Central School Angamaly, Inauguration of the academic year 2024-25
Don Bosco Central School, Angamaly celebrated the Inauguration of the Academic Year 2024-25 on 3rd June, 2024 with a grand gathering of the students, teachers, parents and the management of the school.
The ceremony sparked off with a prayer song and readings from The Bible, The Bhagvad Gita and The Quran followed by prayers by the teachers and students. The Principal Rev. Fr. James Purthenparambil SDB welcomed the gathering and introduced the new Vice Rector, Rev. Fr. Prince Puthenangady SDB.
The ceremony was formally inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Joseph Elavanal, the Rector and Manager. The students were motivated through the messages and presence of Fr. Jilson Erikattu SDB, the Vice Principal and Administrator and Mr. Rinson Parekkattil, the PTA President.
Fr. Jilson welcomed the new teachers and students on the stage.
The ICSE and ISC toppers, along with those students who secured 90% and above were honored on the occasion. Master Benzo Benno is the ISC topper and Kumari Athena Sarah Laiju is the ICSE topper of the Academic Year 2023-24.
Adding cherry on top of the cake, the entertainment Programme made everybody’s day. The mind blowing songs and dances were performed by Kumari Andriya Elsa Biju, Kumari Avani and group and Kumari Anouska and group. The Choir by the 10th and 12th standard students under the leadership of Lyod Dani was also great. The MC of the programme Ms. Anjana Sreelesh and Ms. Mariya Jacob charmed the audience with their liveliness.
The day came to a close with the vote of thanks by Ms. Mini K. L the Coordinator of the Programme, and the audience left in enthusiasm to enter a new academic year.
