Don Bosco PALS Meeting
Don Bosco Youth Services, Karnataka organised the PALS (Programme for Animators, Leaders & Salesians) Meeting on the 2nd of July in Don Bosco Provincial House, Bangalore. Around 60 youth leaders and 16 animators from various communities participated in the programme.
The programme began with the inauguration in the presence of Fr. Shalbin, the Vice Provincial, Fr. Kudackat Sebastian, the Rector of Don Bosco Provincial House, Fr. Kapplikunnel Varghese, the Youth Pastoral Delegate of the province and Fr. Uday Kumar, the Regional Youth Director of Karnataka.
PALS meeting was held at the beginning of the year in order train and animate the newly elected leaders in the local youth groups as well as plan for the coming year. In the morning Fr. Divya Paul from St. Anthony’s Church animated the youth leaders with a theme YOUTH PERSPECTIVES FOR MINISTRY IN A NEW AGE. In the afternoon the local youth animators along with all the youth leaders of the local youth groups planned for the whole year and prepared the annual calendar for all the programmes and activities throughout the year.
