Don Bosco Professional Academy, Hospet Celebrates Milestone with Rector Major’s Special Representative

Don Bosco Professional Academy, Hospet, marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of its 50th and 51st batches. The occasion was graced by Fr. Fabio Attard, Special Representative of the Rector Major from Rome.

The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by a warm words of welcome by Fr. Roshan Desa, The Rector and Manager of Don Bosco Salesian Society, Hospet. Students of Don Bosco Tech showcased the rich cultural heritage through a captivating classical dance performance, while their peers presented a heartwarming Mime act on mother’s love.

Fr. Fabio Attard, in his inspiring address, emphasized, “Education is the heart of our life. It’s not just about information, but formation of the mind and heart. Soft skills, character, and respect for teachers, parents, friends, the elders and the environment are essential. Don Bosco’s mission is to transform individuals, fostering love, respect, and effective communication.”

Fr. Arun George, Principal of Don Bosco Professional Academy, proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to Fr. Fabio, dignitaries, parents, staff, and the students for making the program a resounding success.

Other distinguished guests included Fr. John MA, The Administrator of Don Bosco Hospet; Fr. Maria Praveen, Principal of Don Bosco School, Hospet; Fr. CA Francis, The Director of Centre for Social Action of Don Bosco Hospet; and Fr. Pius.

The highlight of the event was the distribution of kits to the current batch of students and certificates to the students who passed out from the institute by Fr. Fabio. The students had meticulously decorated the venue, which added a festive atmosphere.

For decades, this esteemed institution has empowered over 7,000 youngsters with top-notch training, securing placements in prominent cities in South India.
