Don Bosco School, Bidar Celebrates Investiture Ceremony with Pomp and Pride

The long awaited and much appreciated investiture ceremony of Don Bosco school, Bidar was held on 22.07.2024 with great pomp and circumstance. The event marked the appointment of new student leaders, who were entrusted with the responsibility of leading their peers.

The ceremony began with a grand procession, followed by the lighting of the lamp and a prayer dance. The principal, Rev. Fr. Praveen SDB, welcomed the guests and congratulated the newly appointed leaders.

The school’s student council, comprising the head boy, head girl, various leaders of various sections and house captains, took oath and received their badges. The leaders pledged to discharge their duties with integrity and dedication.

The chief guest, Rev. Fr. Steven Lawrence, Rector and Manager of Don Bosco institutions, inspired the students with a motivational speech, emphasizing the importance of leadership, teamwork, and discipline. Rev. Frs. Mathew and Fr. Sonychen along with Bro. Sam and all the teaching and non teaching staff were present on the auspicious occasion.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks and a grand finale performance by the school’s cultural team.

The investiture ceremony marked the beginning of a new era of student leadership, and the school looks forward to a year filled with enthusiasm, creativity, and progress.
