Don Bosco School Puthuppally observes Moon Day and Nelson Mandela Day

Don Bosco Central School, Puthuppally, conducted a program on the theme of International Moon Day and Nelson Mandela International Day on July 20, 2022. Students performed skits based on the theme of anti-apartheid. Children dressed up as Nelson Mandela and Neil Armstrong.

Moon Day is marked annually on July 20. It celebrates the day humans first walked on the moon in 1969. NASA reported the first step of mankind on the moon to be the single greatest technological achievement of all time. Neil Armstrong walked on the surface of the moon on this day.
