Don Bosco Schools Diamond Mega Exhibition Concludes on a Triumphant Note

The Diamond Mega Exhibition held at Don Bosco Schools, Irinjalakuda on 5th October 2023 at 9.30 am, was a resounding success, bringing together esteemed guests and dignitaries from various fields. The event was inaugurated by Shri. P. S. Sreedaran Pillai, the Honourable Governor of Goa, who graced the occasion with his presence.

The Governor was highly impressed by the quality of the exhibits and commended the students and teachers for their hard work and dedication. The exhibition showcased the work of students and alumni of the school in a wide range of fields, including art, craft, science, technology, and humanities. Several people from different schools, colleges, and other walks of life came to watch the exhibits.

In his inaugural address, Goa Governor  Shri.Sreedharan Pillai on Thursday said that the violence in Manipur is a blow to the soul of the nation and that everyone should come forward to provide relief to the wounded hearts. He was speaking after inaugurating the Diamond Mega Exhibition as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of Don Bosco Irinjalakuda.”Swami Vivekananda has said that the goal of education is to find the truth. Education should be able to find and nurture creativity,” Pillai said. “The talents in front of me are the new buds of hope and optimism, and you are the ambassadors of Don Bosco’s tomorrow,” he added. He urged the students to continue to learn and grow, and to strive to make a positive difference in the world. Irinjalakuda Diocese Vicar General Fr. Jose Manjaly presided over the function. The Governor honored PP James, PS Prashanth, and Sebi Maliyakkal for their outstanding performances in various fields. Fr. Emmanuel Vathukanneel,the Rector and manager welcomed the gathering, and also presented the Governor with a shawl and memento. Jubilee General Convener Mr.Paul Jose Thalyath ,Mr.PP James Punneliparambil and Mrs.Sangeetha Sagar extended their greetings. Higher Secondary Principal Fr. Santhosh Mathew expressed his gratitude.Fr. Manu Peedikayil, Fr. Josin Thazhethattu, Fr. Joyson Mulavarickal, Sr. Omana V P, Mrs.Laiza Sebastian, Mr.Telson Kotolly, Mr.Sivaprasad Sreedharan, and Mr.Abin Vellanikaran were present on the dais.
