Don Bosco Seminary, Aluva Celebrates Pope’s Day with Solemn Mass and Symposium on World Peace
Today, 29th June 2024, we celebrated the Pope’s Day at Don Bosco Seminary, Aluva in honor of the Solemnity of Saint Peter and Saint Paul. The day began with a Solemn Mass celebrated by Fr. Joy Kaipan, the Rector of Don Bosco Seminary, Aluva, followed by a symposium at the auditorium. Dr. Fr. Jossy Kuriapilly, OCD was the guest speaker who enlightened us with the ongoing efforts of Pope Francis for World Peace. The Theme was ‘Peace as a Universal Responsibility.’ He shared with us the Pope’s stand on the current wars and our responsibility as human beings to make the world a better place. A short video presentation revealing the same was displayed. There were several programs performed by the brothers to display their love for the Pope. After the function, everyone had lunch and dispersed.
