Don Bosco Youth Services of Mysore organizes a free health screening camp
Don Bosco Youth Services of Mysore in association with the Narayana Health organized a free health screening camp on July 28, 2024, Sunday, from 10:00 am to 03:00 pm. The event took place at Don Bosco, located at Sreerampura, Mananthawadi Road, Mysuru – 570008. This initiative aimed to provide comprehensive health check-ups and consultations to the local community, ensuring everyone had access to essential healthcare services. The camp included various diagnostic services such as blood pressure (BP) monitoring, electrocardiograms (ECG), general blood tests (E), glucose random blood sugar (GRBS) tests, and body mass index (BMI) measurements. Attendees had the opportunity to consult experienced doctors for medical advice and recommendations, making the event a valuable resource for individuals seeking to understand their health better.
The Bosco Youth of Sreerampura played a pivotal role in organizing the health screening camp, in collaboration with Narayana Health. The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, graced by the presence of Rev. Fathers Sebastian, Jaison, Rahul, Sr. Suguna, Br. Sandesh, Br. Albin, pre-novices, and the Bosco youth. The event was well-attended, with nearly 140 people, including young and old, children and their parents, and the elderly, participating in the screenings. The event concluded at 2:45 pm, with the doctors, nurses, and technicians being felicitated for their contributions.
