DREAM A DREAM: A fitting tribute to the 200th anniversary of the dream of Don Bosco
“Dream a Dream” is a newly released music album by Bro. Martin Joshua Savio, a student at St. Joseph College of Communication, Changanassery. Fr. Jiji Kalavanal conceptualized and coordinated the project, which utilized cutting-edge AI tools in its production. This innovative approach, along with a collaborative effort from a group of friends working remotely from various parts of the country, brought this vision to life.
The song, now available on YouTube (https://youtu.be/W9M2SinOeKI?si=Xmad7LqrKDkSGsBj), has gained appreciation from its viewers. A karaoke version will soon be released for those interested in creating their renditions.
This musical piece draws inspiration from a unique moment in the life of Don Bosco – a profound dream he experienced at the age of nine. In this vision, the Blessed Virgin Mary instructed him to transform “wolves into lambs” through the power of love, a spiritual encounter that would shape his life’s mission.
Don Bosco’s initial work with disadvantaged youth on the streets of Turin, Italy, was just the beginning of a far-reaching legacy. Today, the Salesians of Don Bosco continue his work in 133 countries worldwide. Their mission – to inspire young people to dream a dream and provide the support needed to realize those dreams – stands as a testament to the global impact of Don Bosco’s vision, inspiring a worldwide movement.
“Dream a Dream” is a musical tribute to Don Bosco’s transformative dream, which is celebrating its 200th anniversary.
