DREAM state level review cum staff training
The DREAM programme in Kerala held its state-level review cum staff training at Don Bosco Monvila on 4-5 August 2023. The event brought together staff and directors to discuss progress and enhance skills in addressing drug abuse among children and youth.
Inaugurated by Shri Mahipal Yadhav IPS, the Excise Commissioner of Kerala, who emphasized the importance of protecting children from abuse. Esteemed guests included Shri Premkumar S (General Manager, Canara Bank), Fr. George PS (Executive Director, BREADS Bangalore), and others.
The centres presented activity reports and action plans, followed by interactive sessions to improve DREAM activities. Training included sessions on managing addiction challenges, advocacy strategies, and project impact assessment. The event proved fruitful, enhancing skills to combat drug abuse and create a safe environment for Kerala’s youth.
