Embracing New Horizons: A Fond Farewell to Our Beloved Seniors at Don Bosco KGF
An emotional and memorable send-off was organised at Don Bosco Institute of Technology, KGF, on 13th of July for the second-years who are completing their studies at the Institute. The event aimed at celebrating the achievements of the second-year students during their academic life and to bid them a fond farewell as they move on to the next phase of their lives. The gathering was blessed by the presence of Rev. Fr. Previnth, the Rector, who graced the occasion as the chief guest. In his address he expressed his gratitude to the outgoing students for their invaluable contribution to the Institute. Fr. Rector took the opportunity to appreciate and acknowledge all the students who actively participated in informal courses. Similarly Fr. Dominic Savio, the Principal, wished all the students a fruitful career and invited them to walk into Don Bosco whenever they felt like it. Fr Rector presented certificates to the ITI students who were outstanding in their academic performance during the year, and to all the participants of the informal courses for the successful completion of their programme. While the cultural events brought heartfelt emotions, nostalgia and acclaim from the audience, the sumptuous meal hosted by the community brought the curtain down on the festivities.
