Empowering GenZ Salesians with media skills

On July 6th and 7th, 2024, the Provincial House hosted the second gathering for brothers engaged in practical training and studies. This meeting was designed to inspire and equip young Salesians for their roles in the modern world.

The meeting which took place at the Don Bosco Provincial House, featured a comprehensive agenda. The sessions were led by Fr. Eugene Dickson and Fr. Bastin Nellissery, focusing on the theme “The GenZ Salesian Communicator.” Through insightful presentations, they addressed the unique challenges and opportunities in contemporary media communication.

A diverse group of over 32 brothers actively participated in the sessions, which delved into practical media skills. The participants appreciated the relevance and applicability of the discussions to their roles.

The spiritual dimension of the meeting was enriched through the sacraments of Confession and the Holy Eucharist, celebrated by Fr. Provincial Jose Koyikal and Vice Provincial Fr. Shalbin Kalenchery. These moments provided spiritual nourishment and reflection for the attendees.

The two-day event was not only informative but also deeply enriching, culminating in a productive discussion that set the tone for future engagements.
