First Don Bosco school in the city of Bangalore inaugurated

In an epoch-making event, the first ever Don Bosco school in the metro city of Bangalore was inaugurated on 26th August 2021. It is a dream come true for the sons of Don Bosco, who began their mission in the city of Bangalore in the year 1967. The event began at 4.30 pm, with the Holy Mass presided over by Fr. Jose Koyickal, the Salesian provincial. Fr.Joyce Thonikuzhiyil, the former provincial, Fr. Shalbin Kalanchery, the Vice-Provincial, Fr. Joy Nedumparambil, the Economer of the province, Fr. P.S.George, the former Economer and the Manager of the school, Fr. Paul Challissery, the Principal along with around 35 salesian priests concelebrated in the Holy Eucharist. It was followed by the formal signing of MOU between the Salesian province of Bangalore and Dr. Rosario and Bella, the donors of the school. The school belonged to Mithra foundation at Hormavu, Bangalore. The formal signing of the documents were followed by a felicitation programme honouring the donors Dr. Rosario and Mrs. Bella. This is a historic moment for the sons of Don Bosco who dream of marking their presence felt in the educational map of the Bangalore metro-city.
