FIRST RELIGIOUS PROFESSION

Heartfelt congratulations to the nineteen novices who made their First Religious Profession on Sunday, 24 May 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at Mount Don Bosco, Padivayal. The theme of the celebration was “Passion for Christ and the Young.”

The First Religious Profession marked a significant milestone in the lives of the candidates as they made their first religious commitment in the presence of the community. The solemn occasion was filled with prayer, reflection, and gratitude, making it a spiritually enriching celebration for all who attended.

We express our sincere gratitude to Rev. Fr. Jose Koyickal SDB, Provincial; Rev. Fr. Shalbin Kalanchery SDB, Vice Provincial; Rev. Fr. Davis Maniparamben SDB, Provincial of the Salesian Province of New Delhi; and the 32 priests who graciously participated in the celebration with their presence, prayers, and support. We also thank the Salesian Cooperators, neighbouring communities, and nearby religious congregations for their prayerful presence and encouragement.

The ceremony highlighted the dedication of the newly professed Salesians and their continued journey of service, faith, and spiritual growth. It was truly a moment of joy and thanksgiving for the entire congregation as heartfelt congratulations and prayers were offered for their future mission and commitment.
