FREE MULTI-SPECIALTY HEALTH CAMP REPORT

On 29th September 2026, a Free Multi-Specialty Health Camp was successfully organized at the Saradgi B Village through the joint collaboration of Don Bosco Mobile Clinic, Kalaburagi, Seva Sangama Orbit Organization, Indian Cancer Society, Kalaburagi, and Al-Badar Dental College & Hospital and PHC Saradgi

The programme was graced by several distinguished dignitaries and officials, Dr Abhishek of the Don Bosco mobile clinic Kalaburagi, Dr. Susmitha of the Indian Cancer Society, Kalaburagi; Dr. Irfan Al-Badar Dental College & Hospital; Mr. Guru shanthappa Gram Panchayat members and ASHA workers; and the staff members of the collaborating organizations.

The programme commenced with a lighting the ceremonial lamp by the honourable chief guests, symbolizing growth, health, and community well-being.

Following the inauguration,Dr. Susmitha of the Indian Cancer Society and dr. Abhishek of Don Bosco, mobile clinic both delivered an informative awareness session on cancer. They both educated the public about the causes, warning signs, prevention, the importance of early detection, and the need for timely treatment. There awareness talk encouraged participants to undergo regular health check-ups and adopt healthy lifestyle practices.

As part of the health camp:

• Seva Sangama Orbit Organization and the Indian Cancer Society conducted cervical cancer and breast cancer screening for women.
• Al-Badar Dental College & Hospital provided free dental examinations and oral health consultations.
• The Don Bosco Mobile Clinic, Kalaburagi conducted general health check-ups, including blood pressure (BP), diabetes screening, fever assessment, back pain, knee pain, and other common health problems. Free medicines were distributed to all eligible beneficiaries based on medical consultation.

The health camp received an overwhelming response from the local community. A total of 147 beneficiaries participated and availed themselves of the various medical services provided during the camp.

The villagers expressed their heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to all the partnering organizations, doctors, healthcare professionals, and staff members for organizing this valuable health initiative. The camp played a significant role in promoting preventive healthcare, creating awareness about cancer, and improving access to essential medical services for the rural community.
