Historic Turnout for DBTET in Chitradurga
December 15, 2024 marked a historic day in Chitradurga district as Don Bosco PU College hosted the Don Bosco Talent Extract Test (DBTET), achieving the distinction of organizing the largest student gathering in the region. Over 3,500 students and nearly 1500 parents from across the district came together to participate in this prestigious examination, setting a remarkable milestone.
The DBTET is designed to identify and nurture young talent, providing students with a platform to showcase their academic abilities and unlock their potential. The massive turnout reflects the growing trust and enthusiasm among students and parents for Don Bosco PU College’s commitment to excellence in education.
The event was executed seamlessly, with careful arrangements ensuring every participant’s convenience. Faculty members, staff, and volunteers worked tirelessly to make the day a success.
One of the main attractions of the event was the insightful session for parents on the growing concern of mobile addiction in children. The session aimed to address the challenges posed by excessive screen time and provide parents with effective strategies to guide their children toward a balanced and healthy digital lifestyle. There was also a session for the students on; Tackling exam pressure’. The resource persons of the sessions were Mrs. Anthony Theresa program and communication coordinator of CHITHRA Don Bosco and Mr. Shreyank the project coordinator of MINDS at Chithra Don Bosco.
The college looks forward to announcing the results and awarding scholarships and recognitions to the brightest minds who participated in this grand event.
This monumental achievement is a testament to Don Bosco PU College’s vision of inspiring and empowering the leaders of tomorrow.
