Homecoming Reunion – Don Bosco Ajjanahalli Past Pupils Meet January 24–25, 2026
For the second consecutive year, Don Bosco Ajjanahalli opened its gates for a joyful
homecoming as past pupils—many who had spent 3 to 15 formative years here—returned in
large numbers (38 on Saturday, growing to 57 on Sunday). Organized with love by Fr.
Varghese Pallipuram under the guidance of Fr. Siju (Assistant Director of BREADS,
Bangalore), and supported by the community, the event was a celebration of shared history
and enduring bonds.
Familiar faces—teachers who once guided them, and fathers who knew them as boys—added
special warmth. Saturday began with arrival by lunchtime, followed by spirited games of
cricket and football on the grounds. The evening unfolded with deep, open sharing of
memories—joyful triumphs, challenges overcome, and life-shaping moments—gently
animated by Fr. Pallipuram and Fr. Siju. The night ended in cheerful celebration around the
bonfire, filled with songs, dance, and renewed camaraderie.
Sunday saw even more past pupils join, reigniting old rivalries and friendships on the playing
field with fun yet competitive spirit. After lunch, the group reflected together, sharing stories
and dreaming about strengthening their association for the future. Nostalgia made parting
bittersweet, but hearts were full—grateful for good food, games, laughter, and the feeling of
truly coming home. Special thanks to Fr. Pallipuram, Fr. Siju, Mr. Andrew (the coordinating
past pupil), Fr. Gilbert, and Fr. Anand for their tireless care in logistics, venues, and
hospitality. The community’s welcome made every moment feel like family.
